2008
- Founded by Mark Gregory
- Initially consisting of 3 advisers and 1 administrator
- First later life website offering calculators & comparison tables
- Won ‘Best Financial Adviser’ at Equity Release Awards
2010
- Digital marketing and SEO efforts start to bear fruit
- Reach No.1 position for keyword ‘Equity Release’ on Google
2012
- FCA approval to become a directly authorised firm
- Jamie Gregory appointed to assist with growth in technology
- Creation of additional website – CompareEquityRelease.com
2013
- Advisers join as Aviva closes its D2C equity release service
- Graham Evans joins as new Head of Compliance
- First brand refresh of all brochureware since founded
2014
- Gary Webster joins from Key to launch new B2B proposition
- EquityRelease.partners is born servicing introducer referrals
2015
- Launch of EquityReleaseSupermarket as a .com website
- Advisers numbers grow across the UK reaching 19
2017
- Dom Wilkinson joins from Key as company Marketing Director
- ERGroup ‘Strategic Team’ is established
- Formation of a new telephone-advice service for consumers
- Dedicated case-coordinators employed to manage applications
